The Fourth Age: Total War The New Shadow 2.6 (Requires TNS 2.0b) Requires: TNS 2.0b (or TNS 2.0+2.1+2.2 - see end of post). ‘The Fourth Age: Total War – Forth Eorlingas’ is a modification for ‘Rome: Total War – Barbarian Invasion’ (v1.6). The distribution of mods to the public extends the lifetime of a game engine, and so game development companies usually allow such distribution with the caveat that mods cannot be commercial in nature. What do I need to play a mod?You will need to purchase the game engine.

This, of course, will not only allow you to play the mod but also the original game and a plethora of other quality mods - all for free! In fact, we even recommend some of the best mods for you (see the 'More Mods' link above). The Dominion of Men is created for a game called Rome: Total War developed by the Creative Assembly and requires that you also have the expansion, Barbarian Invasion, patched to 1.6 (the final patch). Normally you can find the game and the extension packaged together in a bundle called Rome: Total War Gold Edition (though there are other editions). We recommend the Steam version (around $10 or less) as the old disk versions, as of September 2015, require workarounds to work with the Windows operating system (see the 'Support' link above for more information). In case your game is not patched, you can patch it up for free by downloading the 1.6 patch.

It really is as simple as just choosing where to install it!. Steam users, and others, may see that the game reports a 1.61 version. Cara mengutip skripsi.

This will still work with the mod.

The mod in no way overwrites or spills into your RTW or BI folders.

It will thus not affect your original games. It is compatible with any other mod that works from within its own modfolder. It can be uninstalled completely simply by deleting the 'ci' folder should you wish to grab back space from your hard drive. If you have a previous installation of FATW then please delete the 'ci' folder (in the 'bi' folder) to avoid complications. The New Shadow assumes you do not have any previous versions of FATW installed.Brief Instructions (for advanced users):1. You will need a clean (i.e. Unmodded) installation of Rome Total War - Barbarian Invasion version 1.62.

After downloading the 2.0 executable, click on it to run it and follow the installation process; you must make sure the installation path is correct3. When the files are extracted you will exit the installer and a dos window will run for approx 6 minutes.

Leave this to run and it will disappear when its work is done. You should now be ready to play The New Shadow - just click The New Shadow shortcut that should now be on on your desktop! (Do not click this before the dos window closes!)Elaborations (for those new to installing mods):1. In-game in Barbarian Invasion click on the Options menu item and you will see the version number in the top right of the screen. If this is not 1.6 you will need to patch it up by using the official SEGA 1.6 patch. This can be found the following link:2. In most cases the default path of 'C:Program FilesActivisionRome - Total War' will be fine, but in cases where the Gold Edition of RTW are used (or where you have changed your directory names) the path must reflect that.

The installation path will always be the directory that holds the RTW-BI.exe3. Some users have problems with the dos window, this may be because of an unusual or varied setup on your PC. Please visit out support forums at if you have problems. Special Thanks:To the Creative Assembly for making quite possibly the best strategy game out there, and for allowing us to mod it. Download links (installer version): - if you experience problems installing this version, try the.rar one, just below.
