Cannot Pin To Taskbar

 

I just need a little help. I can't seem to pin some of my apps in taskbar. Like example i want to pin the autocad and other school relative apps and it wont but in some apps like google chrome and skype pin to taskbar is working. What should i do? The problem is that I can't pin anything to the taskbar. When i try to drag a program to the taskbar it even says 'pin to taskbar', but when i drop it nothing happens. When i try to pin shortcuts i get a red stop sign.

You can use any name. Right click the shortcut you created and open its properties. Change the shortcut icon to some nice icon from the C:windowssystem32imageres.dll file. Now, right click the shortcut you created and select 'Pin to taskbar' in the context menu.
