With original parts for some of these classics hard to find, and with major labels rightly protective of songs created by legendary artists, it is a testament to both the perseverance of Lee and the esteem in which he is held as a remixer that the project was ever completed. Luckily for us though, here we are: Remixed With Love Volume 3 is done, dusted and ready to deliver a healthy dose of joy to us all.As with previous volumes, Lee has put his own inimitable spin on more than a dozen seminal records, with The Fatback Band, Patti LaBelle, Evelyn Champagne King, Odyssey and many more vying for attention across a stunning three part gatefold double vinyl, double CD and digital release.As youd expect from an artist of Lees calibre, hes taken the task extremely seriously. Some songs Ive wanted to get access to the multi for ages turn out to be far less straight forward than I imagined. You know its a great track, but unlocking the key to doing a worthwhile new version doesnt always come easy. To make more of a feature of one element sometimes means there has to be less of something else.

Founded by the Soul/Funk/Disco legend Dave Lee A.K.A Joey Negro, this label has grown to become a main pillar in the Disco and House scenes. Housing releases by The very own Dave Lee and his different aliases as well as impressive artists like Masters At Work, Basement Jaxx, Jazz’n’Groove, Micky More & Andy Tee, Crackazat, Dr Packer, & Opolopo to name a few. The caliber of musical output by this label is nothing short of incredible, always focusing on top quality over quantity.

This week, we can enjoy a 25 track compilation that will 'Put Some Disco In The House' filled with big artists such as JKriv, Faze Action, DJ Fudge as well as the unmistakable remixes by the one and only Joey Negro.-Legendary Uk producer Dave Lee/Joey Negro founded Z Records back in '91, as the natural successor to his highly influential first label, Republic Records, which remains for many, the foundation stone of the UK house scene. It was on Republic that Dave first introduced the UK to such classics as Phase II's “Reachin'” and Turntable Orchestra's “You're Gonna Miss Me”. These tracks nestled snugly alongside his own early productions such as Raven Maize's “Forever Together”, still viewed as an unfading classic house track to this day.Using Z primarily as an outlet for his own material, Dave has continued to champion all things funky and soulful with a consistently high level of quality underground releases.
The last few years has seen the label establish its own successful production complex which has given rise to huge electronic anthems such as Jakatta’s “American Dream” and Joey Negro’s “Make A Move On Me” among its many commercial hits.
