With some decent research production you can go for Bronze working to find any Iron deposits and if you have some Iron near enough to claim and develope (you may have to build a new city), you can go for Iron Working for Swordsmen.Finally Sumer gets a tribal village bonus for every Barbarian encampment it destroys.With all of the above, you can go for whatever Victory Condition you want.
