Kotor 2 Mandalore Influence
I've started playing KOTOR 2 for the second time now, wanting to try a Dark Side character. I remember when I played the first time (as Light Side) that you can convert some character to jedi. I've been trying to do this the other way around, as in turn them into sith. It doens't work very well, because I don't have much influence with some characters due to being manipulative ass. I even picked the Sith Lord prestige class because it supposedly would let me manipulate my companions better.
Kotor 2 Goto Influence
How can I tell companion influence level in KotOR 2? Ask Question 7. How can I tell how much influence I've got with my NPC companions in Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords? The game tells you when you gain dark side or light side, and also tells you when you gain or lose influence with your companions, but whilst it gives you a nice. How do you design your Kotor 2 characters? This topic is now archived and is closed to further replies. Only use her with a Consular in token missions for influence etc. Mandalore is hard to use really, tried using him as range and failed, melee seems to be his best bet but for some reason he feels designed for guns.
I read somewhere that to convert them to dark side you actually should lose infuence with them, but I couldn't find any conformation on that. So, my question is: does anyone here know how to convert my companions to sith?p.s. On a side note: the alignment of my companions seems to fluctuate from time to time.
Sometimes they register as dark side, but when I take them out they return to their previous alignment. For example: on the Ebon Hawk the party screen showed Bao-Dur as Dark Side, but outside the ship he was back at neutral. Also happened with Atton, T3 and Disciple.
Seems like a bug. Anyone know a fix for it? Well keep in mind that KOTOR 2 is just naturally a VERY buggy game. I don't remember whether you should be paying more attention to allignment outside the ship or inside the ship. Regardless, the best way to convert people to the dark side is to just bring them with you constantly and side with them in any argument. Keep in mind that you will earn some Light Side points in the process, but it's the only way.Yeah, pretty much this.Your real problem will be converting Bao-Dur.I remember it took me 3 playthroughs before I found out how to convert him.(You have to basically have him in your party all the time). Community patch?
Haven't heard of it. I've updated the game with the last official patch from the website, but I think you're not talking about that one, correct? Does it work with existing games? What does it include? It seems having a character in the party while doing my evil shifts their alignment.
I've read a high charisma in conversations helps and I've noticed a good amount of Awareness is handy. But what I'm really interested in: can I make the characters Dark Jedi when I push them to Dark Side, or do I need to get influence, push them towards Light Side if needed, make them Jedi and then push them to Dark Side? Can I even make them Jedi if I'm Dark Side myself? It's not a bug, it's just difficult. Trying to convert 'everyone' is nearly impossible. I'd suggest just picking 2 or 3 companions you enjoy and working at getting them converted.I'd highly suggest also downloading and restarting a game with this mod as well.
It's called the Restored Content mod, go figure,. It restores a whole slew of content that was originally cut from the game because the developers just didn't have enough time to finish it all. It's still only a beta, but having played through the game using it I can say it's worth the download. Buggy, but the plot makes more sense, the characters are better implemented, the game more complete. Great stuff all around, I doubt I could play the game again without!Trailer and link below.
