I recently acquired one of the best looking armor sets I have ever seen in any video game. It's the level 20 female lizard ranger finesse set that makes her look like a silver eagle.
Equal parts graceful and deadly, it's just truly something to behold.But recently I came across a pair of divine pants I found as a quest reward that have some of the best stats for a ranger in the game. I was super stoked when I found them but when I put them on, they just completely ruined my entire set. As much as it pained my heart, I simply could not bring myself to put these pants on. I had to keep my set intact.Now i'm frustrated. Torn between looking badass and doing low damage or looking like a ragtag street beggar and doing OP damage.
Morrowind soul gem mod. In other games this form of gear customization is known as 'transmogrification' and I'm just not used to playing a game without it. It's ESSENTIAL to the RP experience.It kinda ruins the immersion of the game when I'm fighting Elite House of Shadows Master Assassins, all of them fully clothed in matching jet black assassin uniforms trimmed with scarlet edges meanwhile my party is fully decked out in pieces of armor such as the blouse of mass destruction, the tropical hula skirt of darkness, and the beach flip-flops of untold power. Divinity Original Sin Best Armor
That's one of the best selling points of Divinity is the immersion. But that beautifully crafted immersion can be ruined by crapping looking armor that has better stats than armor that is cool looking.
